i kinda liked doin my previous movie parody wall so i decided to do another one. on this one, the image of a passionate kiss reminded me of the coverart that was on my R0 DVD of 2046 between Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi. Once again, i tried to keep it simple here. i started by vectoring just the dark portions of the image so that it was all black like my previous wall but afterwards, decided to put a little color into it. but since i wanted to keep it as minimalistic as possible, i made my color scheme very small, 3 colors and b/w. also, the idea for the type in the back with the credits was stolen from another DVD i had, Hana-bi. Which just displays type for its cover.
EDIT: yikes, just realized from sammo's post that the thumbnails looks horrible. fullview it, the actual wall isnt
at all that dirty.

la couleur rouge du wall donne un style au reste de l image, le tout est assez sympa , mais ne serait justement pas trop rouge ? ^^'

XD Although I prefer In the Mood for Love more :P Actually, I haven't seen the cover art for the R0 DVD (we rented it and just got the disc itself) so I can't compare, but this is a classy piece of work you have here, crisp, clean, and stylishly shadowed, although the girl's hands have a slightly odd shape to them. Also, red tends to show more artifacing than other colors in jpegs, something to do with recompression algorithms? Sucks, but the full size version is ultra-high quality.

Yeah i was wondering when i saw this at first it looked crappy but i know its yours and in full view your walls always look good..Nonetheless the simplicity and whole atmosphere looks great! :)

Wonderful work. I've always loved this image of Rin and Archer (my favorite actually) and have been looking forward to a good wallpaper of it and I am very pleased. I love what you did with the scan, the simple look fits so well and I like the overall feel of this wall. I agreewith Tama-Neko though, her hands do look a little funny but in the end this is easily overlooked. Great job!

Awesome wallpaper sumpf, im surely gonna use this as my background-image. I like the dark colours and that scan is just superb. Great work =)
