Improvements? Maybe the scan of the character needs to be cleaned a little better for sure and the background needs a little more energy towards its casting dark theme, for all honesty, of course. But still, its nice - keep it up!

the bg is original and look clean so i think you made a good wall with a good character. This is sure a fav. There are some extraction problems according to the weird white lines but it's your first time. I can't wall so i don't have to make criticism.

The black and white, the text, and the scan combine into a very good wall. I wasn't sure at first, but then downloaded the wall and gave it a better look. It's really good, I think.

Looking at your wallpaper I like the way you designed the web and spider in the background. There is roughness in the picture but since it is monochrome and I envision darkness I think it came out very good. I know nothing about this series but she sure looks very beautiful and at the same time deadly. Very good job and thanks for sharing your work.

Yup, very good first wall. Can't wait to see your next works... they're sure to be very good. Of course there are minor extraction issues, specially on the hair... but then again who hasn't had them at the begining. I also think (as Celessa pointed out) that the back needs just a little more energy, although the grainy effect helps a lot to make it a dark wall.
If the grainy effect is to simulate darkness then I guess the spider could use some more definition as she is about the same distance from us as the girl is. In any case the wall is very good, to my favs...
