That is a *very* attractive background... it's hypnotic, really, just looking at it, and at the little smile on Mireille's face... I half expect her to whip a gun out at any second... lovely. :)

bg ... well it is better than a black background but maybe you should have used another technique as well, I like the "liquid effect" in the top left hand corner, but on the right maybe try something different.
Its noir ... so I should complain XD -
