The border is a nice touch. As for the moon and the clouds, they look good. Very impressive for a first wallpaper.

Hey there - I can't quite understand which character from Love Hina this is, but it's good anyway :)
i like the way you have done this all by yourself, the moon looks very professional and the trees give it a nice touch instead of having a very bright moon! I like the clouded over atmosphere of the wallpaper, it definately helps to give off the feeling that you are trying to portray [lonesome].
Although theres one bit I'm not sure about - the bit on her right side of her arm, seems like its either a bit more extraction needed or a clean up, but thats about it.
It's very impressive (as Aa-chan said!) for a first anime wallpaper, so congrats and thank you for submitting it!

the stock picture is Kanako (ketaros step sister) from Love Hina again, so if you have only watched the series chances are you wont know who she is.

Nice job for your first wallpaper. The background you've created give an impression of something fearsome might be beyond the darkeness. Also good job on shadow effect from the moon.

Kanako, isn't it? That'd be the only one I'd add "lonely child" (well, that could also be Shinobu but bg doesn't fit her :P) Very nice bg :) the only thig that doesn't work is.. the dots on the moon (the craters just don't look like craters :P)
