An original character of mine. I sketched him out on a weekend when I was sick. I have a bandage fetish so I just had drawn him with one. His name is Desmond. His design isn't entirely original, but he's something that came out of my head and I'm pleased with the outcome. I have always wanted to give a character I drew a mutilated wing of some kind. In this case Desmond's left wing is just a bone/skeleton of what it once was. The bone looks like crap. In the begining it was too small so I had to erase what I had liked and try to redrawn it larger...so it looks crappy. I'm planning on going back and fixing it when I get time.

The wing on the right took me a while. At first I thought of going with some kind of cutesy, CLAMP-like wing style, but I hated it when I tried to draw it and it didn't seem to fit with what I wanted Desmond to look like. I didn't want cutesy. I wanted something something sober and depressing. So in the end I have a much more feathery looking wing and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. ^__^

So yah~ I'm done rambling.
