I love the texture of the initial background. It looks like a sort of rough-textured paper..XD Cool grunge! The middle part beside the girl looks weird, though...
Overall, the wallpaper is a grunge masterpiece!

Hello everyone. Today I made this.. a Gunslinger Girl wallpaper. The title is from the the song 'I won't last a day without you', which Shiina Ringo and Utada Hikaru did together. It's a wonderful song, so I suggest going to listen to it. I've been sick, so I really haven't been doing anything... so I came up with this. About 2-3 hours of work in Photoshop, scan is from Kawaii Revolution. I think this is definitely my best work so far... so yeah. I would appreciate critisism, and helpful comments. Favorites also loved as well.

There's something unhinged in the way that she looks out from the wallie... andyet this is an amazing atmospheric piece of art! The colours, and the light background stop it from feeling weighed down by too mch negative emotion, and almost adds to the off-balanced look about her.

I absolutly love the graininess of the entire wall but especially on the hair. I think the constast of the semi-empty left side and the busy right side is a nice touch for concentrating the attention of the viewer on the character. That deep black just sucks you in. Very nice :)

This wallpaper immediately caught my eye, though I am not a big fan of this type of wallpapers. Interesting choice of brushes and colouring, still I think that progress from the 'empty' part of the wallpaper to the 'busy' one is too sudden.

Oh, such a wonderful wall. I usually don't care for grunge, because it just seems that some people just over do it, but you did it so nicely. Not enough to make it cluttery, but just enough to make it interesting. I also enjoy the interesting angle of the girl and how the background excentuates it. Very nice. Adding to my favorites. ^.^
