Mysterious Nightfall : A nightfall par exellence.

My tendency to give bad criticism related to one of your wallpapers has always been kept down ... and again there's not a thing which disturbs my eye

Almost drooling all over the place - I find myself lost in the dark woods of the story this wallpaper seems to tell, the simplicity and yet complex elements that unite in a wallpaper such as this one are very hard to find at all on mt.
With the unique ability to combine a 'dark mood' and eternity you created a very good example for everyone else who's trying to do the same.

The way things have been put together in this one fascinates me since it seriously looks like it could be a scene from a movie or something alike where color-play and level-management aren't the only skills needed.

The night-skyline with its' greenish looking colors - the stars which shine thru' even the darkest night - the woods/trees that symbolize life ever since (love the detail you've created ; f.i.: the bird on the left and the variation) and last but not least the character in the foreground!
Your choice of 'typo fits the whole creation pretty splendid so what there is left to say is : Congratulations (for giving me a new reason to change my current desktop-wallpaper :P )

Keep up with the gorgeous work of yours Asahi, I'm sure you'll improve even more ^^

Whoa, talk about atmosphere! Asahi, your new wall blossoms with tons of atmosphere scan & BG combined! Dunno why, but it makes me want to see the movie, "White Noise", maybe it's the eerie text! Oh well, another great job that deserves a thumbs up! + 2 favs

Not bad... but it looks kinda... flat. Especially mist has its depth. One thing I really like - the bird over the woods (makes it more creepy). More vivid night sky with sharp line of the woods would suit me more (It's just my word). When everything is slightly blurred it looks like it was resized. But the idea is great, and there's always something fresh in scans You are picking.

Asahi it's really funny. i just came from deviant in which i viewed your gorgeous background and thought to myself "wow this would make an excellent background for an anime wall" and lo and behold i see that you have used it for a wall.

the extraction of course is well done and the background is very good and sets the mood. i only have miinor complaint it is a little blurry, but i do believe this was your intention.

Very nice wallpaper. The title matches the piece very well. First things first, I like the colours of both the background and the character. At first, I thought that the piece had too much black in it, but then I looked at it carefully and found out that I was wrong. The darkness helps bring out the 'nightfall'. A job well done, Asahi

wow how did you make these awesome trees! woah i'm always painting and paiting and in the end they look like crap. no the layers aren't important to us, i believe. maybe you're doing everything in only one layer xD you did a good job on blurring reika a bit, it fits very well! um somehow many rahxephon wallpapers have these colors though rahxephon wasn't that dark but kk i won't complain anymore.
