Yay! First wallpaper of 2005! :D
Overall, I like how this came out. Some minor things I don't like, but I think that's stuff only the artist can see since friends told me it looked fine. T_T~ Then again they're friends. Hehe.
Dug around OLD 3ds max 5 renders, and they were utter CRAP. So I uberfied them in Photoshop, aka trendwh0re, and did some trendwh0re light effects as well. In otherwords, this is an, OMG, trendwh0re wallpaper!
Layers: Around 81? @_@; Most of it you can't see anyway.
Crashes: None! :D
Time: 4 - 6 hours.

Ah,.... nice ^_^ The effects are subtle but work really well. The background's pretty cool. The only thing is that the scan is a bit low in quality ^^; The edges especially. They're a bit jagged ^^; And since the rest of the wallpaper is light blue and pink, it brings across a softness... So that's why the scan has to be less jagged. If you could smoothe those lines out more, then this wallpaper would be perfect :D

those vertical lines are weirdening the thing out tho :\ and maybe still a bit of job to do on the extraction, lines are irregular and jaggy

Anyhoo, 60 layers? o_o I'm normally around 20. x_x Maybe thats what I need to work on there. Oh! And blue! Prettyful blue! I myself think soft pinks would have been better, but blue works just as well. Maybe its because I see blue so much now(o_o My sister will only dress her son in blue). Anyhoo, prettyfull wallpaper! ^^ *favs it while going to stalk brush sites* brushes! <3

Yup, she's definitely no angel! The halo and the wings are a bit too bright for my screen but they look very nice indeed. Her hands are too covered by the "crystal" type render that goes from around waist up. I also think that the lines could be taken out, they seem to get in the way of the overall wall composition. I find the heart-shaped lines in back a bit odd. Still some minor details of the edges of the extraction in the hair area but they are only obvious if you look very closely.

The girl is so cute! Really love it! There seems to be a bit much of the rendered crystalline around the hand, but that's just a minor nitpick. =P Other than that, the whole wall is really cute, and bright, and nice. Great job!
