Artist Comment

Cleo from Sorcerous Stabber Orphen. This wallpaper doesn't capture her personality at all. ^^;; I got the idea from the bathing scene in episode one. The image actually comes later in the series, though I did some adjustments to get it to my liking and to fit the wallpaper's scene. Image was vectorized (my second attempt!) and colored to fit the scene I had in mind. I originally had the idea of making moonbeams but they seemed to clutter up the wall too much. Same goes for the moon's reflection. Not sure if I like the water on this... maybe I'll try a different style later. I tried not to go overboard on the sparkles either. Kinda makes you feel like a peeping tom now doesn't it? ^_~

    Oh, my. I'm still the first to post comment here when 149 people downloaded here already? Shame on you to not leave some comments (good or bad) to the creator who did the hard work. Even a simple sentence of "Thanks, I like your wallpaper would have gone a long way....well, more detailed comment would even be better. ^_^'

    i like your overall concept you did here. A cute girl taking a night time bath outside with the moon as her sole illuminator. Both the moon and the water effect is nicely done although if you take a closer look at her body where it meet the water you can kind of see through it. I doubt you wanted like that did you? ^_^'

    Thanks mughi! I was wondering when someone was going to post a comment. :) Actually, yes I did want her body showing in the water since water is not opaque... I didn't have that part at first and it looked like her body was cut and just floating there. :o Glad you like it!

    This is a very beautiful image! I love this scene with the moon and how it sparkles off the water, it really compliments her and makes her stand out from the night. It makes her look like some magical or mystical being. Its very beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing it! :D

    Wow. This is just your second attempt at a vector? Looks great. I love the moon and the fluttering sparkles all around her. I really love Cleao and thanks for sharing, Orphen is an series that doesn't get a lot of attention.
