I spend hours for this one :) searching for the right picutre and then making the right bg was hard, and I still do not know if I got it right. I think it worked out pretty well though. I searched the whole day for tutorials how to make certain effects, so you can expect some new wallies from me again in the next upcoming days :P

I've seen her walled a couple of times before. Each one has ben very different and very good. I like your concept of having her wandering through space... most interesting.
The extraction is a bit rough in some areas but in general is good extraction. I would also increase the saturation of the elf or reduce it in the back as I feel that the background is "siphoning" color from the girl making her look pale. Nice choice of palette though!
