Hey, not bad for a first wallie. :) The main thing I'd suggest is-- if that feather is a brush, try changing the size/rotation/scattering/opacity settings under Brush Presets. Shrink and fade them as they get further back to create depth. That way it won't look so much like a stamp. Well, if possible, try use different feather brushes, too. And maybe try having them on different blending modes? It could be interesting.
Also, allow the feathers to get cut off the edges of the canvas-- it would look more natrual that way. As it is, it's as if the canvas bounds are like walls to the left and right. It lacks the illusion of space.
I'd also experiment adding at touch more purple (or even dark pinkish) to the bg or text. :) Because the figure is more of a blue/purple colour than the navy bluish you've got.
Also... on a side note, 931kb is a pretty big file for a 1024 wall. o_0 It doesn't have to be on the top quality settings - a balance between quality and decent filesize is best.
All in all, congrats! :D Not a bad first wall at all. Good luck with more in the future~<3
