Well a new wall from me.
I had to do a wall for Last Exile, and Alex is so cool :)
It was essentially made in Photoshop, almost no vectors.
The theme is the "Grand Stream", I wanted to do something a little grungy. Well it's not enough grungy like I wanted it, but hope it's working anyway.
I found the scans from Alex and the ships on net, but don't remember were.

EDIT: I know it is lacking of colors, but I can't find how I can add some without messing up the concept. Well I don't hate monochrome wallpaper anyway.

    i like the colors and background of this wallpaper. the character looks like the general in the chinese novel that has three armies fight each other . don' t know what it called in English. Thx for sharing

    Hmm, I don't really get a grungy feeling for it and think that there might be too much of the same grey.
    You have a nice concept tho, I just think that there should be more of a value change.
    Keep working on it :)

    I like the coloring. I can see how that would be difficult to add color, as you mentioned.

    Finally, more lastexile! As for the lack of colours, I'd say monochrome is the only way it can work. Shades of gray aren't always bad u know, and I'd say u pulled it off with this one. Very kool.

    Great job on this wall. Love the atmosphere. Windy, arctic feel is great. One small thing I picked up...maybe the character can fit into the background more? Know what I mean? Just seems like the characters outline seems so solid and distinct from the background. The colors match it nicely, but the line is so solid. Really a minor thing though.

    That is one absolutely badass wallpaper. I love the mood it creates, and how it feels like you're surrounded by clouds or mist...awesome.

    Well, your wall is great. I like monochromatic walls too. The man on the scan is so cool (you're right) and the bg is awesome : the ships in the sky are incredibly well done !

    i agree, LE is vritually monochrome so the wall should be as well.

    Awesome! I've never seen Last Exile but I love how the monochrome is done... the style is beautiful and the background is just gorgeous, almost like something out of a Myst or Final Fantasy game.
