Artist Comment

my first real serious attempt at scenic, used a bunch of stock photos which i manipluated, reshaded, and stitched together. Sky is just typical brushwork and the fonts used are "neverwinter" and thanks to kev for the "holiday" font which was used for the japanese (translates to "Frozen Summer).
When i originally got this image, i immediately knew i wanted to try a scenic with this one but didnt know specially what. In case you havent noticed, the title and the text refer to the awesome Shunji Iwai film "Love Letter". Both are names of songs off of the OST and actually this wall is sorta inspired by it since its wintery like the movie.

    Awesome scenery, this is really high quality realism. My only complaint is the lens flare, it seems a little glaring.

    I like the panoramic view. It really lets you look out into the distance and take note of all the little details and effects. For some reason, I like the way the fence looks... don't quite know why, but it looks really nice. The character also fits in nicely with the enviroment, not to mention the clothing she is wearing really matches her color scheme & the environment (i've seen walls where an scantly clad chick is in the snow and doesn't look the slightest bit cold...). Heh, nice job.
