The choice of colors is nice. Having half of Rei on the foreground and a bigger picture of her on the background is nice. Having some of the hair of the background picture overlap the forground picture at some parts is a nice touch too. Nice wall.

This is a few years old, and it is about the only wallpaper I ever did. I lack the...ah...patience for it. Yes, that's it, it's certainly not for lack of skill!
Anyway, it is a composition of a few images of Rei (and her ID card), with a liberal helping of GIMP filters and mucking around with layers. I liked the result enough that I kept it all this time.
