"Cat scratches"? I use the same technique for sketches but mine don't look so fine like yours.
I like this drawing very much. Because of its unclear outlines and the god-like shading. Yeah, the shading is simply
great (I wish I could do it like you).

not totally original but i played around with it enough to call it half mine...
okay! here we have wat i call my "cat scratches" technique!! u simply draw a quick piccy with out rubbing out
ur mistakes, then u shade like a madman till u reach desired affect...NOTE: do not use this technique on pretty and
detailed drawings, the kind u draw once in life time cos ull end up crying...
comments please! and cos i did not rub out any mistakes, i know there are a lot...dont mention anything about the
body...im talking to u oloria!

About "Cat scratches?" OX i'm not sure,it's like a style that i used?[have many line like sketch & didn't clear it out] it calls like that? i didn't know it before. :o but when i got a mistake,i'll find another way for fix it. :) Sometime,i use to change it.For example,when i got mistake about a finger XO i'll draw a ring on that finger. XD I think,i got a lot of fun to find the way to fix it. :D
Or, "Cat scratches" is the shadow on his pants?if it's that. i used it to fix my mistake sometime, into a place that i can put a shadow on it. XD

Ok....I'll start off by saying that I like the pic. Looks like the lil brat from kenshin. And since I'm in a super good mood because...*drum roll*... frode IS here!!! *jumps around the room like a mad woman* The body looks ok to me. Oh and btw...I like the sword too.

Heh...i thought his eyes were closed until i realized they were open XD Personally i think this is your best sketch you posted here (besides the mirror one of couse XD ). The dark lines and high contrast just makes it even better. And i think you've heard enough about how good the shading and the sword is already XP

the wings are really nice, & different (well i know u can't always draw the same, hehe), way darker than the others though
