Finally it's done. Valerie in her Caster Armor "Ray Aegis". This started out as traditional sketch thumbnail that was scanned in at 12 times it's resolution and resketched digitally in gimp. all of the rendering was mostly done all on one layer, same goes for the med tone Flat colors. A first for me in a while but over painting this way might be much faster then shuffling through layers. The rendering and texturing was done using the brush tool and touched up with the smudge and erase tool. Linework was done by brush and using transparency lock to recolor and blend in most of the lines in by brush.
Total layers used 9 out of 22 layers
