That is really good for a first wallpaper. If I were you, I would get to grips of using the pen tool as soon as possible, it will really help you in cutting out images. I can still see some white parts of the image you used, it's really quite offputting seeing those. Head over to the forums, you shoul be able to find some tutorials and people that can help you with making walls and getting to know photoshop. Good luck, but I must say that is really good for a first wall.

Another method, the one I use, for getting rid of outlines is using an anti-aliased eraser on the edges (usually 3 or 5 pixels). I can't use the pen tool to save my life. You can check out my wallpaper called "A Question of Heaven" on my user page as an example.

thank you both for the help ^^ i hope my new one reflects the help i have got , from both of you and my boyfriend ^^

I bet she is a fast typer. And damn good at answering phones.

This is your first wallpaper? I'm not a waller so I cannot give you advise but I honestly can say I do like what I see. Really good job. I look forward to your future works.

The wall is outstanding for a first WP. Its much better than the average WP you find on the net :)

I actualy like the white spots between the hair streaks :) Whitout the remark I wouldn't even have noticed them as remainders from the image cutting

This is a great effort on a first wall. Keep working at it you'll better. Its just like anything else we do. Practice makes per.....
