DO NOT UPLOAD TO ZEROCHAN OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Before Code: Realize was made into a game, while Beast Master & Prince's fan disk was nearing completion, the artist "miko" (as told on the Toroiro Stripes art book) said during staff breaks, she'd began talking about what kind of projects they'd be working on next, expressing her love for steampunk and hoping it would be a theme for a future game. Three years later, she completed this illustration which eventually would lead to what we've come to know as "Code: Realize".

Taking a closer look, we can see miko had more or less already conceptualized Van & Cardia's design, sharing several traits with their future counterparts. Cardia retained her fluffy long hair, Van had already been carrying a rifle and had that stern look. The other characters present in this illustration definitely seem to share traits we now find in current day's Lupin, Fran, Impey & Saint Germain, though I wouldn't know what happened to the "dog mask" guy in the back.
