That is really good. The pose and perpective most have took a while. There hair is really cool, it's a great character design you got there.

Original character here. Took me around 50 hours of active work to get it done. The tricky angle and pose resulted in one of the most difficult character drawings I've done.
If you like to use this charatcer in your own work, just PM me, and I can send you a refined version of just the character, without the background (of course you can cut it out of the background as well, as long as you mention it in the context of your work somewhere).

His? Wow, that's a her (kinda tomboyish). The fish-eyed effect does distort the proportions a bit, but trust me, I made that based on a photo I took of myself. -

whoa, love it! is the face your work also? the style looks a little different from the body. love the wall though, great theme(yeah i'm posting this as of 4:30am), the angle and drawing style makes the char look as if from a dream.

It is. Very much inspired by Abe's work though. I'm all for drawing more realistic characters. I also happened to concetrate most of the details around the facial area, so it would stand out more (hence the plain colored clothing). -

I love the style of the girl and of the whole picture. Did you add the fish-eyed effect after drawing or while doing it ? Anyway I can see the pose must have been a lot of trouble, and you did great with the perspective, like on the foot. And I like your CG art too, the soft shading on the skin looks awesome :) .

I've been drawing since I was old enough to grab a solid object (most likely a pen). The fact that I haven't been around here has prolly to do with the fact that I never felt the need to do so before (and to some extent I still don't know why I joined).
Gai: The fish-eyed lence effect on the charatcer was there when I scanned the original drawing. But the background was clearly edited on the comp.
