umm... this is a quick (6-hour) wallpaper...
I found the scan kinda low quality.. gomenasai~ but my hands were itching like
crazy... all I had in mind was "Wall it!!!" XD
retouch here and there.... made all the bg by the usual PS7
for information : all I know is that the character is from a game by LEAF/Aquaplus, searching for infos, I found out that the company is a bishoujo game industry that made To Heart, Tenshi no Inai Jyuunigatsu (December when there's no Angel) and Comic Party... and the upcoming Tears to Tiara for PS2

CRITICAL UPDATE 02:30 +5G.M.T. :
- Fixes on the forest/trees ... removed green ambient color...
- Fixes on the broken water tiles
- made perspective correction to the clouds layer... sorry... not much can be done.. -_-
- Fixes on the wrong ambient color of the scan (brownish/reddish glow removal)
- Made same typo for the blurrish text on the left... I really love that text... but if anyone else demands it to be
removed, then it'll be another update
- Fixes overall brightness/hides the grass layer partially...
- Minor fixes on the effects layer

ok i thought I will never see this. Browsing here and there. And reading through the forums and the final click led me to this page of yours. Wow, so many hits and comments. I just have to see what this wallie is all about. I have a little bit of trouble seeing the full version from this site and therefore went to crash.inweb.dk to have a look. and boom. The pic is just so wonderful. The water and sky combined to have a marvelous effect. The water effect is so detailed and realistic and The clouds looks like they open up for the moon to be shown (super!).
Character design. unique and beautiful. fits in just perfectly. No doubt one of those top notch wallies around here.
Thanks for this wonderful submission. And definitely an eye candy!

I like the water effect,, the ripples..and yeah nice shade of colours too. It only took you 6 hours on this fantastic wallie O_o You're simply incredible.
The scan fits perfectly, so I think this is one of the wallpapers I've enjoyed afterall.

This wall has a very mystical and magical feel to it, and I thought you captured that part of it very well.
The nighttime sky is also a nice touch, but I think the random sparks and comets ruin the natural feel of it.
The quality of the scan isn't too shabby, but it fits.
Then finally, I love the colors of the water, even if it does look a bit odd to me... like a pool of gasoline, you know? But the ripples near her feet are very clear and I like how illuminated they are.A little more tweaking, and it might be perfect. But out of the intense view, this is a great wall!
