I'm glad you got the inspiration to finish this. This is really great quality and you were able to mesh the blurred lines and colors just right (instead of it looking random I mean) and match it with the atmosphere. I've never seen the series, but this is great. Thanks for sharing.

I started this wallpaper a year ago, but due to lack of free time and imagination I found myself working on it, on and off. It was when I brought it up in #reddit-anime on IRC did the ball really start to get rolling. A few suggestions here and there led to this final product which includes a lot of burning in the atmosphere and debris. It’s probably best seen in its actual size, rather than its smaller cotton-candy-like thumbnail. I really had fun putting things on fire in space… SPAAAAAAACE…

Very nice man. I really love the cool effects you've added onto the Gundam. It's a pity Gundam isn't as huge of a hit as it was before, so I'm glad to see these fantastic wallpapers still around
