HAPPY BIRTHDAY TROFI-CHI~! <3
I finally had some time to make a wall for someone's birthday again and then I am late, lol, sorry. OTL
Anyway, behold the hottest emo dude of the series. This was actually given to me as a challenge by Trofi, who said it would be nice for me to wall something for VK again and since we both liked Zero, Zero it was. Was kinda hard to find s scan of him that wasn't walled already so I'm glad I managed to stumble upon this one. I was wondering myself why I had only one VK wall in my gallery, until I started to work on this and realized the reason behind it - these people have too much crap on themselves! So many clothes and buttons and details! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
I rotated the scan so it would fit the widescreen resolution. In the original, it looked like he was bending over in agony or something emo-ish like that, so I decided to make him lie down in the snow. Now that I look at it, it looks depressing either way. >_>
Pretty much everything was painted, except hair, where gradients were used since the hair demanded a bit finer details and lines. In the end, I added the snow around him, since otherwise, it looked as if he was floating in white space, although I don't really like the way it turned out. Something about it irks me and I hate it but I can't look at this anymore, lol sorry. I ended up hating the guy. <_<
In conclusion - my last VK wall. Definitely. For realz. Never again, man.
Welp, I still hope you like this Trofi. I wanted to name the wall 'Snow Queen Trofi' since I think you
would've gotten the reference, lol, but in the end, his emo-ness won so this was chosen as the title.

Really love the contrast between the black and white; it works even better due to the purplish shading on the coat. The shading on the hands makes them look so bony, too. Neat effect!

I was planning to do this scan's wall next year! Crap I need to find another scan of Zero that isn't walled yet xDD
My first impression: "Poor boy in snow, why Yuuki kicked him?" xD
And ohhh, nice details on clothes, they look really lovely, must have given you a pain to paint though, right? xD
And the snow around his left shoulder area looks like rabbit fur. o.O
All in all, loved it, also the balance between black and white is good, it's not hard on eyes even if I stare at
this for a few hours~

VK is a pain to wall but you did great. The clothes and skin are simply perfect, I mean look at that awesome colors

Also love the roses and snow, it looks so fluffy :)
My only nitpick is the hair and eyes, they could use a bit more of shading idk
All in all, it's great, I'm gonna use it for my desktop now :3
The snow looks soft, a bit cloudish, wait! no! cotton candyish, maybe that's the problem, a bit of grunge to it may or may not make it look more real, but, BUT, I freaking love this, everything else looks so velvety and silky and so well shaded. Master of painting level, totally reached. Mhm. Using this. Also painted in SAI? forgot if you're using it. I'm kinda hyped to finish my old stuff too now.

As always, a beautifully stunning wall...I think I would be using this on my desktop for the whole winter season or maybe for the whole year...or maybe FOREVER. Since I love snow or rather the winter season in particular. Of course, I also love your walls...same with the love I have for the season when the frozen crystallized precipitation falls down from the sky and melts into the ground.
Surely this would be one of my top favorites from your works...+FAVS
Great wall and I love the character expression in this. Like some said, the snow background was a problem to me because it doesn't look natural enough. Overall though, the entire piece is still great.
