Lol, Cruel you say? xD I like the concept of this wallpaper so I'll try being less cruel this time xD
What I love most here are clouds, they are looking so fluffy, soft and the outerglow in distant clouds. And that cute
House! x3
The characters as well fits with atmosphere of Background, which I liked a lot. Also your lineart has became really even
and nice, it's far better than my lineart which I probably call very sketchy xD So, I'm impressed here too!
:D
Few constructive criticism here to make it look more better;
First is you should consider applying Rule of
thirds guideline in your wallpapers. It tends to make the composition of Foreground and background, plus main focal
point more interesting and enjoyable, I've provided the link of Wikipedia for you to understand better. Like here
in this wall's case, the wallpaper would look more interesting if either house or characters are shifted towards
those intersecting lines (picture provided in link).
Second is the empty space between mountains! I can see that! I know there should be no line since the mountains are
lineartless. But you should connect them together!, just to make them differentiate you need to add gradient of each
mountain on separate layer.
Third is, you should understand how light and shadows falls and cast. The soft brush shading on face is not needed here,
because characters are on sky and is there any object which comes in direct path of light falling on their face? If you
need to do that then do it on more subtle level.
Overall it's really nice and I tried to be less cruel this time xD wallpaper so keep it up! :D
