Another one sourced from "Soul & Pepper" this image was originally used as one of the illustrations with the "interview" of Sanzo after then end of the Saiyuki Reload manga. It seems for years Minekura had been hinting at us mobiles would come into play in the series, but oddly enough, here we have "mr. no you can't have cellphones" with one! Zoom up close to Sanzo's face and indeed you'll see he's holding a cellphone, just as it was described by the interviewer. I believe the image is originally from 2009, so smartphones were only coming into play. Then again, Sanzo says he is "proud to be of the old generation" so...
