Hello. This wall i have done today is my old love. I loved the manga and since when the short movie is out I love him too :) So I have decide to make some wall and maybe one time some more :)

So lets get do it! The main picture for Hotaru is from this source: http://marshyinwonderland.blogspot.cz/2012/07/hotarubi-no-mori-he-special.html

Its original scan, but it is in very bad shape so i do my best to add some more lineart to it and more colors atd.

For Gin i used my own screenshot ... :D Yah i have to thx for that my friend elisadevelon. He tells me that the screenshot can be used to the wall, but it have to be clear and in good shape xD So ONE BIG THANK YOU for that :D And i am sorry for my mistake to entity1660 :)

So that was the characters.
There are five layers in this wall.
One with "mountain" this is painted by me only with the brush.
Second "trees"with the free brushes from deviant art
Three is the "grass" to free brushes from deviant art
Four the "stars" they are basic round brush with various color
Five "fireflys" they are to basic brushed.

I love the concept of your new wall which has lots of elements in it. The colours are lively.
Plus, you have included many things for the background and I love the idea.

However, more tones could be used to make it better. For example, more contrast can be added for the mountain and trees. You can add some glowing effect for the fireflies and they would look lively. XD Perhaps the grass can be darken to make the characters stand out. You can refer to photos or works of other wallers to see how they achieve the effect.

I can see improvements in your work. Keep it up! Looking forward to see your new work. ^^
