2560x1440 Wallpaper
A few weeks, or months ago (damn, how fast time flies) I have seen a request for a twin wallpaper serving a dual screen
purprose. I didn't really complied, after all who the heck cares about some requests on Reddit, but I found the
idea itself interesting.
As long I keep all my PSD's it was a rather fast process to edit the original from the twins, all I needed was a
good vector - which is the just submitted Yuno. So why I made a vector, despite that I have dozens of never walled
ready-to-go vectors in my gallery? The answer is simple.
This is not just some random wallpaper featuring a similar concept, but it is twin wallpaper in each and every
aspect.
As you know the original "Geek Artist" featured the main character from the Geijutsuka Art Design Class. This
time we have Yuno, who is the main hero of Hidamari Sketch. In reality Geijutsuka Art Design Class and Hidamari Sketch
are extremly similar rival series - based on 4koma (4 panel manga), featuring a art high school and school life itself,
featuring multiple girls as main heroes and both are slice-of-life comedies with slightly childish art design.
To keep some differences, the tiles are now red-blue to feature the colors of the Hidamari Sketch school uniform and the
words finalize the monogram Highschool - HS - a short for the series, just as Geek Artist - GA did for Geijutsuka. Both
wallpaper feature 2560x1440 (1920x1080) and can be used as dual screen on two 16:9 screens.
Thats basically the idea.

Simple and clean...that's what I like about this wallpaper. ^^
I love the soft colour combination and the shapes. The alphabets and objects are not over crowded for the bg.

I really like how colorful this is, yet how the colors don't clash and are more toned down. Makes the shapes in the
background not look too crowded despite this wall having a lot of details in the BG.
Top notch vector work, as usual. Though that's to be expected from Aki ;)
