Hi!

Thanks to YuuichiYouko for sharing this awesome scan!

Vampire Knight#673773

I completed the picture then vectored it. I made 2 different versions, one with a purple flamme, and another... more peaceful!

I hope you'll like!

Great wallpaper, i think ive seen a similar one Once but without the leaves.ersion i like the Flames even though i think they dont fit the Image there

I must say I like this. The composition is great and you finished the missing parts nicely. I also love how much attention you pay to details on plants. Those leaves look fantastic.
I'll only criticize your shading. I think you put too many shadows on Yuuki's and Zero's clothes and skin and made them look like... butter? The hair and flowers are fine, but the skin and clothes... the shadows make it look like Zero's coat is wet. You know what I mean?
I also agree with Shimazaki about the purple flames. I love purple and I love fire but the flames really don't fit in this image. The version with leaves is much better.

Honestly I do not like her Long nails! It doesn't suit Yuki!
But in contrast to her nails I see that you made her wear boots instead of her "sandals" and I like the boots much more!
I also like the leaves - very well done!

it's very nice but the shadows are a bit too much, the shadows around yuki's mouth is particularly weird

Nice contrast going here. Red looks better to me than the blue of the original scan.
I'll weigh in for the shading too: it looks strange to give them so many shadows, especially when Hino Matsuri's style is more pastel. I'd get rid of the darkest shading on Yuki's legs, for example, and make the darkest shadow on Zero's coat fade out into the second darkest shade.

I'd also advise you to be careful about jagged edges - particularly around the tiles on the floor. You might want to duplicate the lineart layer and blur the copy a bit to avoid jagged lines.
Anyway, nice work and good to see you back with new stuff :)

Pwahaha Yuuki's face looks like she ate sand and some got stuck on her nose/mouth area XDD But I applaud you on the background it looks really good reconstructed like this, it has a lot more depth than the original and those leaves are pretty.

This wall is truely brillant !
Always love how you vector the hair and how much details you put into your walls.
The fire version is really nice, add an unique feeling and nice contrast of colors -> my favourite version !
Good job CIlou san ! Keep it up

I would commend that the background is nice and the vectoring is also nice but I have some problems with shadows and highlights on the skin of the characters. It looks like they are being lit artificially by some sort of special light that only affects the shading of their skin, I don't know how to describe it exactly but I feel that it is a bit off. The guy's coat is also quite bothering me. But the leaves add a great taste in the overall composition of the wall. I prefer the 1st version since it subtle to look at compared to the one with the fire which is quite gloomy.
