Happy birthday, Doki! I initially wanted to make something from a series you hated
just for the lulz, but eh. There's always next year!
2560 x 1600 version recommended, the others cut out from either the top or sides.
This was supposed to be done like...two days ago but I couldn't stick to the schedule T_T The vectors didn't take too long to make, the most difficult part was thinking of a background. I wanted to have them sitting in a cafe; while waiting for their drinks/food, Yukito falls asleep and Misuzu goes all "OMG SO CUTE" and...pulls out some juice? IDK, didn't think it through that much (｡´∀｀)ﾉ
Aaanyway, this was a nightmare for my computer because Illustrator and raster graphics really should NOT be combined unless you have a beast of a machine. Vectoring Yukito and Misuzu from the scans below didn't give me a lot of trouble, and I even tried gradients this time! But then I absolutely hated how everything looked all neat and vectored, so I ported it over to PS for the blending (lights and snow, mostly). Then I got carried away and repainted the brick wall and added some wreath, Christmas ornaments and garlands (all done from scratch).
Cue PS crashing once (I'd luckily saved before that) and regularly taking up about 1.3 GB of memory.
