Hello, guys! Here's another attempt of mine to paint something without lineart. It's a painting of the same girl as in my previous work. The girl is my original character but doesn't have a name. She's just supposed to be a cute Japanese wearing a kimono. The image depicts a bright summer day; the carefree lady is just enjoying herself and chasing some fish.

The background is completely my own work. I'm rather proud of the bridge. I tried to make it using the 3D feature in Photoshop and kinda failed because I didn't know how to make more than one "hole" in a 3D object so I just cropped all the holes myself but I think it still looks good. The clouds are taken from one of my personal photograps. Here are the reference pictures for the hydrangeas (the flowers are like the most difficult kind of flowers I've ever painted). Annnd here's the sketch of the girl if you want to see. It's another of my several-years-old sketches and I'm not sure anymore if I used anything for reference but if the girl's pose reminds you of anything, let me know. For this painting, I wanted to use a combination of pink and blue, and as I was working on the kimono, I came up with probably the most stupid pattern ever - sea horses and jellyfish. Anyway, I hope it at least looks cute.

The most difficult part? Grass. It's always grass. Oh, and the hydrangeas, obviously D: Making the splashes was fun.

Any comments, remarks and suggestions are welcome.

This is AWSOME! Really, the feeling of life and bright colours. Also the kimono's cute and the girl's so happy. Everything's soooo good that I don't have any words *-* Keep it up! :DD

Aw this is so cute, the colors and soft shadows make it look so pastel :3 I luv.
Grass looks way better here, pretty good job on every detail. The only thing I would suggest is shade more the trees, but that's just me being picky xD.
I loled at the face of the fish, they're like terrified of the gurl splashes.

Her kimono looks cute, I admit I haven't seen many kimonos with fish patterns before XD The contrast between the pink and yellow is the best part of it, IMO, but I really like the wave designs at the bottom.
The grass is so soft I just want to roll around in it -w- And dat water and toro <3
The only gripe I have is with the shade of red of the bridge; it feels too bright and contrasts too much with the rest of the image. I'd go with a slightly duller shade instead to make it look old, and maybe a subtle texture too.
    But overall it's beautiful <3
