Hi there people of the interwebs. I made this wallpaper more than one year ago and I like the anime, so I was very sad when I saw that there are now wallpapers for Shinsekai Yori here on minitokyo. Because of this trivial reason I decided to upload this wallpaper I made ages ago (which proves that I have not lived on this earth for too long, as I feel like one year is a lot). It was "very simple" to make it.

Basically the only thing you have to do is to first find the scan of the album cover for the OP and ED single for Shinsekai Yori (can be found on minitokyo but I got it elsewhere), then put into Illustrator and draw lines to "vector" it using a overused mouse. After than it is colouring which was also done on AI (adobe illustrator) and using the same mouse. With that done it is only to rip/screenshot one of the cool looking title screens from the actual anime, and then Photoshop it into the vector (yes that is what you see in between Saki and Maria, and no I have no idea what it says but I assume that it says Shinsekai Yori). Add a couple of gray ringus and tada it is finished.

You want the "vector"? Oh, I dunno if I should upload it, but it exists on my hard drive.

See ya next time (maybe in the future, or maybe in our past)

The messy lines are an interesting effect; not a style you see often. Also helps that the color leaks slightly over the lines, nice sketchy/doodle look you've got going there.
The only part I don't like is the blurred black column in the middle, under the text. I'd go for a solid black or dark brown/red shape instead to match the rest of the wallpaper (since nothing else is blurred).
Aside from that, pretty decent work. Keep it up! ^_^
