When i saw the original scan i decided to draw it with my heart content

nice work, I rather like the interesting take on the lollipop, fine that's the first thing I noticed :P but the piece, as a whole, is remarkable. I rather like the lack of color, it helps with the details, in my opinion. such as to the clothing and the hand placement. good job.
