Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've finished a vector and posted it. This vector artwork features Haruka Utsunomiya from Voltage's mobile dating sim/VN "My Forged Wedding". Haruka is a world famous Ikebana artist, and is hot as a cookie~ This vector is based off a a CG from the game, one which I instantly fell in love with as, to me, it was both innocent and yet risque, which really describes Haruka's personality in that he is a sweet man with a bit of a dark heart.
While there are some minor problems in my opinion, I'm overall very happy with how this Vector came out, and I hope you will enjoy it. I changed quite a few minor details with my vector from the original. First off, I chose to go with a different skin color palette, as I am not fond of the very white/pink tones most anime artwork utilizes, and so I tried to pick colors that added a bit more of a peach color to him while still keeping a light and creamy skin tone. I also used different color outlines, as opposed to using pure black outlines like the original. The pattern of the "inner" kimono was changed to, as I felt like using a more floral design for it instead of the original pattern to place emphasis on Haruka's love of flowers and Ikebana, and I also drew most of the hand and sections of the left side from scratch, which were not present in the original, by looking at several other CGs showing hands and other various images as a base to go off of. For the eyes, I utilized the mesh tool to add more life to the pupils. Please let me know what you think!

Vector took about 3 weeks on and off and was made in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
