Holy sweet Jesus, not even a trace of ecchi. How could this even happen? Well, it did. I kinda liked the scan, due it's quite innocent compared the other Kill la Kill scans and I really want express my love towards school uniforms once again.

WORK PROCESS:
Time spent on it - 80 hours? Lol. Even if is based on a whole scan with background included, it contain countless fixes and upgrades over the source. Mainly it got a 15% extension on the left side, cause cutting down from scans is like cutting down from myself. So pros extended rather, don't they? Although it wasn't that hard to extend it, just in case I studied up multiple similar looking real life cars, particularly the DeLorean DM12 and the Lotus Esprit 83. Outlines are more countinous and angles are fixed to be less "random". Several colorings are different, colors are more unified and with heavy gradient abusement. Also, it contains a non-agressive low opacity (10%) grunge texture.
Is the biggest vector project what I ever did for a single character (if we don't count Senketsu as another person) and with this I'm putting down my first and last art piece for the Kill la Kill category. The art is not something inside my style, I just happened to take some liking in Ryuuko herself. Thats how this was born.

Your wallpapers make me happy regardless whether it's ecchi or not :) I sometimes wonder just how fast you vector, because your submissions are steady and every single one looks perfect.
The outlines are wonderfully clean, the gradients are a dream! The color changes are nice, the finished work looks much warmer than the original. Great job on the extension ;)

*squints* Aki must be ill. There truly is no ecchi in this wallpaper.

You know I love your work, but I think there's something particularly appealing about this one.
(It could be the lack of cleavage, I'm not sure.)

Beautiful vectoring, and wonderful use of gradients and that subtle texture.

I loooove the line work and the gradients~~ :D so clean.. all that detail must have been fun to vector ;)

Holy tomatoes, it's not ecchi on the beach again...

Believe it or not but I really think your non-ecchi/non-beach walls truly show the amount of skills you have when it comes to vectoring. You may prefer to wall ecchi scans and all but walls like these are the ones that really stand out from your gallery when it comes to artistic expression and creativity. You should definitely work more on making them like this.

If I had to nitpick about something, then that would be the addition of some extra shades/shapes on those trees and maybe blurring some of those buildings in the back to better illustrate the distance and depth of the city. Other than that, love the gradients and the overall scene. The extension of the car was also nice. Keep it up!

TBH I like that you kept the shading to a minimum, it feels like it's a panel from a comic book. The pink shading on the pavement looks really nice, I admit it's a detail I wouldn't have thought of but it brings some diversity to the overall color scheme (yeah, I know it's in the original scan as well but you brought more attention to it).

And it truly is great when you step out of your comfort zone. Your beach walls are nice, but shaking things up never hurt anyone, and it certainly is welcome if it leads to works like this one!

But now I have a feeling you're going through ecchi withdrawal and the next wall will be your ecchiest one yet, lmao.

Impressive. Love the attention to details especially on the pavement there.
I would had given up before I even started.

It has to be quite a pain to draw all those lines with such fine detail. Not to mention that the coloring is fabulous. You've done some justice to the plain art of Kill La Kill. Maybe you could give it a slight of light source and a color filter just to give it a bit more "oomph" <3

Aki-chan, you've come a long way. This is a stunning wallpaper. The art is so simple, yet you've made it come alive. And I can only imagine the hours of vectoring that took. Also good job extending the image, with the tree and the cobblestones that would have drove me crazy. I love the warm sunset lighting so much, I might use this as my desktop. Really nice work.
