Artist Comment
Seiden, more known as RG Veda, is CLAMP's first own manga series. Its story is based in legends of the Hindu mytholgy, later turning in an epic battle of clans and gods, and its consequence can be the end of the world.
The queen Karura, also called "the blue queen" because of her elegant blue armor, is famous not only for her habilities defeating demons, but for her love for her younger sister, the princess Karyoubinga, the best singer in the fictional heavenly kingdom Tenkai, the place where the story happens. [And they are my favorite characters too ;) ]
The artbook Tenmagouka, the first of the mangakas team, is full of the most
beautiful images of this series, but - what a shame! - a lot of them are in black and white, as this:
I always dreamed 'bout how this scan would look in colors... But as you guys can see, it turned all wrong! :'( If you can fix it with... you do you call it?... vector, you're welcome! and please tell me what you think bout it too!
