I've wanted to do a Spice and Wolf wall for a long time. I loved the scenic shots in the Openings for the anime, so I tried my own scenic image here. Lots of unfamiliar elements here for me, so I'm not exactly sure I've done all the proportions or details right. Nevertheless, it was a good practice on sunsets. Oh, and lens flares. Love lens flares.

Alternative resolutions have very slight tweaks on them to make things clearer at smaller resolutions.

EDIT: added an alternate version with water.
EDIT2: Made the colors a bit more vivid.

I really love what you did there! While all the textures aren't that detailed it gives the Image a nice Artful style. This supports this pretty scenery even more. The way you did the clouds and the rising sun are awesome and the flying wheat-parts in the screen makes it perfect.

I only have one small thing to complain: On your water-version (which btw looks really looks beautiful) the road is a little bit too small. There is too much water and thus it looks like the road is actually not a road at all but rather just some wheat in the middle of the water. But you did a great job with the reflections on the water so I don't mind at all.

Ah, actually, for the water version, I thought it would look more natural if it looked like the road was a bit flooded (well, I guess it's not really a road in the first place).

Aah, this is definitely my new favorite piece. So many lovely colors and details (like the leaves and birds), and such an overwhelming sense of freedom! It honestly feels like I'm looking at a piece that should hang in an art gallery.

While I don't have the road to complain about, I do have one complaint: the grass in the foreground. More specifically: the roots are visible. This is a huge no-no since it makes everything else look rushed - which is a downright shame because, if it weren't for this grass, I would have no second thoughts about adding this to the elite gallery. As it is, it's too obvious that you used the default Photoshop grass brushes. My advice would be to either erase the bottom part of the grass gently, or (even better) to cover it up with more bunches of grass.

The top part of the wall is gorgeous. However, bearing in mind what I said about the grass, I prefer the water version.
