Wow it's definitely been a while since I've submitted...again.
This particular image didn't turn out too bad, I think! It still sucks compared to most other people, but I'm still learning! :) At any rate, here are my complaints.
1. I think the face looks too orange-y after the levels/curves fix. All my friends have said it looks great, but I dunno...
2. The "attempted" CG of the sword. Originally, the scan was cut off at the tip of the blade, so I attempted to uh, do something...creative. I don't know if it worked well.
3. That..unsubtle shift from light to dark on the top right corner. I think it occured while I was trying to sphereize the sky.
Otherwise, I think the mood and setting works pretty damn well, and Aya just rocks, so he deserves his own little dramatic environment. I hope you all like it!

I like the scan, it has that cool looks in the char.
The bg, especially the grass is really nice.I agreed with u on the guy face, the sword is alright to me, maybe smudge will give the effect (i don't know never tried)
OVERALL GOOD WALL .

Pretty cool in concept. The wallpaper is very high in contrast though. It kinda hurts my eyes >_<; But again, the idea is good... and your effect with the sword tip was pretty cool, too. ^_^

Ok I know I saw this over my Thanksgiving break. So why oh why didn't I comment on it? -_- Bakka me! Anyway I really really like this pic! Actually those black leaves floating around him are my favorite part of all! XD They are so dramatic they just rock! Yeah the face is a little orangy but people's skin tones look different when the sky is really funky (and your's is XD ) And I like how the sword turned out! My one complaint is that with the sword tip that close to the "viewer" that maybe there shouldn't be leaves in front of it then. XD Still a fav for me though!
