I vectorized the character, leaving her with black hair. The scenario was done with gradient, brushes, texture.

This looks neat and I love the scan you chose (it's a he, not a she, lol) but to have a fully incorporated character, some proper lighting is necessary - since the moon (the main light source) is behind the character, the character's face and front should be darker/in the shadows, while his edges (face, hair and clothes) could use some of those light blue highlights from the moon. The same applies for the edges of the window, too.

Overall, nice job, it just needs some more tweaking to look really complete. Keep it up!

Ooh, the general look of it is quite attractive, especially the slightly purple sky. And while I'm not a fan of overly bright full moons, this one has a bigger impact on the overall work thanks to the snow (?). Also, good call on not using a stock moon; this is a simple and clean vector wall, so using stock images with more complex shading would have looked out of place. The text on the side is also a nice touch.

I do have a minor suggestion, though: like Alenas said, you should integrate the character into the background more. His face and the moon are the only "big" spots of light here and need a bit of extra light to be balanced out. Try adding some sharp, white light (since it's coming from the moon) on his shoulders, just outlining them a bit. Or, alternatively, you can add a source of light in front of him (lamp, candle etc.).

Overall, this looks good. Aside from the lighting thing, it's pretty much OK, in my opinion. Great for busy desktops, that's for sure :) Keep up the good work!
