When watching this series they used some cool effects. Result: Always wanted to make something from the encodes from the anime Dennou Coil. And here we have the wallpaper as a result.
The character is vectored (and needed some extension fixes) from a manga cover. (Scan not available on MT)
The encodes were based upon several screenshots and were partially done with pen tool, blur brush and a Wacom tablet.
Background was done with the help of a tutorial to create this bokeh effect.
A hard wallpaper to make for me and took me quite some time. So
