I rather like the description and the biographical information. However, you need to refine your skills a bit. A wise master once told me, 'when you create a new work that you are not fully contented with do it over again from the beginning. Now, do it over again still, and yet again, until the sixth or seventh time when something inside your mind's eye will inexplicably adjust to your hand, and the piece will develop to a state of order, then it should progress to a realized version of the initial task at hand. First, ask yourself, "what about this do I not like and what about it am I pleased with?" Then go to the task at hand.
Artist Comment
This is my first time ever to sketch some linings just with Paint Tool SAI. Not sure if the linings are perfect but I'm guessing some people might it some "Stan Lee" type of sketch due to its roughness a little. Also along with the light/shading effect that I've done that took me probably few hours just to make it look as perfect as it gets.
I didn't mentioned that I have a name for him since I was way busy working on drawing or something else offline for awhile but I'll deal with it later.

(neighboring planet of Zebes). Also the First Metroid game along with the remake "Zero" is the story taken
place before Metroid Prime Trilogy, Metroid II, and Super Metroid was taken place if anyone didn't notice the
timeline events goes.
