It is actually quite remarkably expressive and fluid with a sense of motion and liveliness. It reminds me of sketches done by the masters of the Renaissance period. You have invested so much into this work that perhaps you might want to invest in a softer/darker pencil or pen as well, and enhance those remarkable lines. Don't sell yourself short on your ability to add color. It takes much work to develop a new talent. Endeavor to persevere, and in so doing, grasp the next new skill. No one gets what they desire unless they seize it and make it their own.

i use mechanical pencil so its hard to find any lead thats darker
also those lines were done using a 0.3 and 0.2 mm lead - which seems to only come in HB lead
(i draw on A4 - i need really fine lines)
thank you for your comment and advice =]

Missed you! (and your art of course!)

I never thought your coloring sucked... D: It seems like your style has taken a turn into being more realistic? Even so, it still looks amazing! Love all the little details-- from the beads to the tattoo... and I love the organic folds and general flowy-ness of the cloth and fins. :)
