This is quite a lovely piece and though it is nearly monochromatic the amethyst-colored eyes are a nice accent. The subject seems to be glowing with pure whit light an you pulled off the effect well, although there could still be a few harder and more well defined lines. It seems as if you wanted to convey a bit of a misty feel to this piece, so defined lines would not be appropriate, but the misty feel might be more readily apparent to the viewer if it appeared thicker and obscured the background just a trifle more. I don't mean to be too critical because I like your effort here and you did a remarkable job.
