I have never try to draw background so hard before, but finally I make it! *Horraaayyyy*
I felt drawing background was quite fun as well, so I'm curious with the result. The most enjoyable part might be a
tree, I tried to make momiji leaf brush and (I think) it looks good. I still feel awkward with waterfall, I think
it's still weird and bla bla bla bla bla...
I don't care if I fail. I will doing better next time!

At the end, I'm glad enough to end this year with nice art.

oh that's a lot of maple's! *O* i think you did well on the BG. the falls contrast the red/orange feel in this wall which makes it more attractive to me though it is kind of weird or flat?. But i like how you did the shadows of the trees on the falls. Maybe a bit more white or some splashes(i don't know how to explain it sorry XD). i really adore the watercolor touches mostly on shadings. it makes the girl looks soft and smooth despite of the sharp color behind. But that's just me XD This is still a great art. great job! :)
