Lately, I've been trying to deviate from the norm and create some different types of walls... I can't say they've been well received but I'm still trying to make it all work together so we'll see what happens. Anyway, here's my latest wall... The setting is an early morning in Japan, the sun coming up over the mountain peaks in the distant, a white hazy sky with mist rising off the water as the heat of the beginning day mixes with the cool air over the water. It's one of those quiet mornings, the sound of trickling water, and soft chirping birds mixed with the beginning of the cicada's call... all this and shameful hot anime-girl lesbian action to get me lots of +favs! (J/k)... I actually just sifted through some scans on my HD and picked one where I thought their outfits matched the setting... Um... appologies for not creditting the scan source cause I can't remember.

    I have this scan, too... and I've been wanting for someone to wall this ^^ Because I'm not into such creepy extraction >_<, but what you made here is awesome..... very ice extraction, and the whole bg blends well, although the sun looks placed a bit too high (imho, the rising sun should be just visible at the top of the mountains)
    Overalll it's an excellent wallie... and I love the concept..

    oh and the fav was not because of the yuri action involved *rofl* XD

    1st is extraction of the hair for the left girl. not so good as the right one.
    2nd is the water need some ripples. I never since any lake as calm as that. ^_^"

    Good job composing the background; I particularly like the mountains and the cat-tails. But I think the scan quality is detracting from the wallpaper as a whole. The scan isn't particularly sharp and compression artifacts are noticable. You could clean up the scan some more or you could try another with this background; the colors are fairly neutral so it probably wouldn't be hard to find something else suitable.

    This is really good......I must say DP, (Whoa-oh! ^.~) this wall is really calm and just.... amazes me each time I look at it. First off using a Carnelian scan.... Omg her work is godly, Well its not like your BG aren't....just that yeah. When it comes to perfection, both you are Carnelian come to mind =P. Gorgeous extraction and adorable pose by the two =P. Then I come to this background.... and wow. I had to divert my eyes before they rolled back into my head cause I felt like I had died and was on my way to heaven. This scenery is simply....wow I can't even think of a word to describe it cause it blows them all away. Everything in here has been done to the utmost perfection and highest of quality. The birds look amazing even for such a long distance and the mountains are just beautiful, literally I feel like I could climb one of them.....though I've never been rock climbing in my life... Gosh the sky and that sun.......wow thats what really caused me to divert my eyes.....just way too much greatness gathered into this wall and the end result is something that no one should pass up. I personally will keep this on my favorites for as long as I can because I want everyone to at least see this wall.
