If you've only just decided to start reading the comments, or forget them as soon as you read them then only read the long ones, they say the best and most informatives things. the short ones are mostly "cool/great/awesome(etc) scan" or "Thanks for shareing". The long ones are mostly people who know about the pics commenting on what they're about, or answreing the questions of other commentors
