This is Mich (Tsu's char), an OC from the story "Lebenszeit". This scene marks the time before Mich loses his right eye. He's sitting in one of the empty dorm rooms trying to read. Since he can be quite arrogant, he doesn't actually tell you to leave him alone, but stares you down. His thoughts are probably these: "Can't you see that this room is full, get lost." Full aka "you can't use the room because I, Mich, am here".

Mich's season is autumn (Tsu and I agreed upon this almost instantly. I think it might be because he often wears brown-ish clothes) which is why I tried to use a lot of red/orange and yellow. I wanted the drawing to look warm and bright despite the fact that it's autumn. Btw, the light comes from the sun, no electrical sources involved.

Fun fact: The books in the bg contain 2 RL books, try to find them 8d If you wiki them, you could also get to know Mich better whose char info still hasn't been revealed yet.

Tools: Mainly SAI, editing done in PS, Intuos 3 A4 Time: 1-2 days

Lebenszeit (art and story) by Tsu and Yina

So cool! With the combination of you and Tsu the series is sure to be a hit!

As for the drawing/wall itself... kinda makes me think of a more street-smart Rui (Hana Yori Dango). Love the colors and angle of the image. ^_^

This work deserves more love! *_* I really love the warm colours and his expression! :)

About the books, I spy two titles: "The Price" and "Purgatorio"...so I suppose the first one is Machiavelli's "The Price", and the second one, it's from Dante's Divine Comedy, aren't they? :) It's a pretty interesting choice of books...but from the description that you did of this character, I can understand enough WHY he can like them :3

The nose is the only thing bothering me...it's just weirdly drawn and to me doesn't
follow the same angle as his face.
The colors are beautiful and warm, and his calmness is soothing to the eyes.
Makes you more interested to see what he is thinking about, or just makes you want to think in general.
    Great job~

The nose IS weird, yes, and something about the pose doesn't seem entirely natural (maybe if his elbow was actually resting on his leg?), but everything else is AWESOMESAUCE.

Really lovely. I like the color scheme esp on his clothes and his hair. :3 The perspective is quite unusual and that makes it more interesting.

I really adore your art style. You and Tsu have some amazing art styles, art styles that I could do nothing but stares and keep on mesmerizing.

Ok, other notes. Amazing concepts for the characters. I kinda want to see this turn into an anime actually. Might be fun? XD

PS. HIs arms are quite long xP, but then again, Clamp's chars have long arms too HAHAHAHA XD
