I've done this image 14 days ago on DeviantART but I think its still good. Though I haven't find anything on
MiniTokyo that still had Halo (video game/Bungie) pics along with Halo: Legends (Anime). Aw well, I've already
decided to make my halo fanart for a first time anyways.

I've done the shading effect with GIMP 2 since my trial version of PaintTool SAI had already expired so there's nothing I can do about it. Though I've ran into some trouble with zooming feature since it wasn't set for my mouse scroll lolz.

I would recommend to use higher resolution for your works, I don't really see point to put so much time into a project, when is pixelated right on - for example I have a 24" LED monitor and it looks rather bad.
Also, in the case that this is a parody I would say somehow ok, but if not, I really recommend also study a bit human/armor proportions, on many places the armor looks like bended and hard to imagine that a superior metal armor would do that.
