Combination of Smudging, Textures, and C4Ds.

Decided I wanted to get back in the wallpaper business. I have seen many, if any wallpapers using smudging, and now I know why. Every time I used the tool, PS would slow down in order to load my action. So it was mostly trial and error. I knew I wanted a deep sense of lighting with high contrast with color, so getting that right without butchering the depth was spent well.

Saber is owned by TYPE-MOON, and belongs to Fate/Stay Night.

This wallpaper reminds me of the first time Saber used Excalibur in Fate/Zero (against Caster), with all those golden orbs of light floating around her (and Kajiura's Yuki wonderful music, but I digress :P). The smudge is enhancing the impression of Saber as "light among the darkness", a hero with just ideals.

Thank you for sharing such a great wallpaper (and your footnote is hilarious, too).

Nice wallpaper. The background like a group of wild wolfs surrounding her trying to defeat her

My little brother says the right thing. I have the same feeling...I love to use the smudging tool too and you create a masterpiece...A great work
