aww ^_^ i'm sure this has alot of sentimental reasons behind it... i wish i could blend acrylics like this... although it's simple- it's still good- sometimes simplicity is fabulous when applied with the right medium ^_^ i like this :D

Acrylic, tempera, & latex on wood. 48 in X 96 in. 2002. NFS.
The Boy was created in a short story I wrote once, and afterwards I also made a sketch for him. (You can see the sketch and read it here: http://www.mentisworks.org/writings-prose-brmv.htm) The boy is me really. It is the essence of me that has been ingrained by my sad experiences in Europe. Or at least it is who I was outwardly once, and now I only harbor an inner core of that boy.
