This was a complete dabble. I made it as simple as I can. The hair seemed to go upwards and made me think of an underwater theme. The surroundings fit the render... But still unsure.

Please edit and give more of a description, it would be nice to have the actual scan to see
what changes/work you put into it. I'm noticing some cut offs on the top where her hair is,
might want to blend that better with the smudge tool. As for the BG, I can't really comment much
since I see no scan to compare it to. -
