Ohisashiburi danna, minna-san!
I was rally missing you all!
Not that I can't be to blame, since I haven't been drawing properly these days (unless I can upload trees and
fruits to MT :P), but, long story short, here it is!
This is my first draft to illustrate my friends short movie. She asked for the cover, so I decided to do something
simple, in chibi-esque style. I kept her very simple, and didn't even erase the guidelines, just threw the
watercolors on top, to keep the sketchy and indie feeling.
The thoughts crossing my head when I drew this were (totally) based on my friend's story, where the boy gives the
girl a walkie-talkie when thy're kids, so they can talk while apart. As they grow up, they also grow apart from
each other, but the girl still has feelings for him, and she hopes she'll be able to make them come true when she
gives him the other walkie-talkie, even after he left her and the little radios.
Done with regular watercolor pencils. ;)
